Stick to Facts, Dimwit! // 1:15 PM

I'm a big KPop fan and have been for what? 11? 12 years and I absolutely hate it when people just write an opinion and make it seem like they're a sure fact. Especially if you're a fan of a certain KPop group which has temporarily involved themselves in their solo activities and, just to note, NOT DISBANDED, and you read other people's public blogs saying that they already have and it's sad but we can't do anything about it.

I'm dumbfounded. Not to mention angered... and just RAGING MAD!

What the heck is up with that! Right?

The moment I read it, my head starts spinning and I wanted to vomit and cry at the same time. They have absolutely no friggin idea what they're saying and then people (who are pro-disbandment of said KPop group, which I actually didn't say) start loving it and spreads it like a virus. What do we make of that?

I've never trusted blogs to hold true fact because, heck, my blogs have always shown known facts (like news articles from news sites and photos) and opinions, and my opinions do not at all constitute reality. I'm a fan girl, I'm entitled to imagine and create impossible, even improbable facts in my head and blurt them out to others who wish for said reality to happen as well, but then shouldn't others do the same? Like, NOT TRUST BLOGS TOO MUCH?

And so I reread the article after the first wave of nausea has passed and I'm engulfed by my rage.

So the writer starts off with how the group is an amazing group and that they're a talented bunch of kids (well, they're not kids anymore, just so you know) and that they're so happy when they were still together.

I know for a fact, with the title of the blog, that the writer's only pro-one member of the group. Coming from me, those who know me would know who I'm pertaining to, but you, dear stranger, wouldn't and so I'm gonna clue you in.

The group I love with all of me is a pretty popular group, even more so when one member of the group starred in a drama that pushed his celebrity status at its peak. There have been rumors of the group disbanding but it was him who said that they aren't and never will. But I guess I was the only one who heard that, because those who have him as the member who they solely love and by solely, I mean they don't care about the other members, they never heard him say that, even if a gazillion articles tell them otherwise.

So this member that they love, love his group so much. He struggled so much for them, to keep them together and as their fan, who've been with them, for I don't know... SINCE THEIR DEBUT, I'm confident I know, at least a part of their personality. Following someone for years would make you get a hint as to how their personalities are, you know? And he became my favorite member for a couple or more years too, so my obsession for him transcends those of the ones that claim to be obsessed about him and even more.

Bottom line is, I KNOW. Because I don't follow JUST HIM. I follow the whole group and each member of said group. So more than my knowledge of who he is, I know all there is about him. I know who he's been with, I know about his family, I know how he is with his other members, I know when he's pretending or when he's genuine, I know if his smile is real or not and I know, with confidence, the natural course of his alien mind... and just so everyone knows, the pun was very much intended.

So going back to the blog article, I still appreciate the writer for noticing changes within him during his solo activities. How he's not AS HAPPY, or AS COMEDIC and how GENERALLY TIRED he seems, which is the exact opposite of how he was when they were still together. I'm actually happy that the writer took notice of that, the lackluster on his face is clear as ice when he's alone and how when he's with his other members in a certain activity, the happiness is back and truly transparent. But then there were things written that bugged me.

It was riveting and I got close to breaking my laptop as I read the words: [1] it was his choice to leave them and the next paragraph claiming that he wanted it, [2] he doesn't want to be back together again, and [3] they're over.

Okay.

First of all, they have no idea of the struggles that the group went through, while I watched a half-a-year long TV show of it. I was there since the beginning and I KNOW what was happening. It has always been an unspoken idea that all of them will leave the company when the time comes but the person who wrote the article, didn't know that. Why? Because as I continued reading the article, I found out that she (I'm guessing the writer's a "she") has only been a fan of that ONE MEMBER for a few months. Like, two, I think... when I've been into him and THE GROUP for YEARS.

Secondly, they do not know ANYTHING. They don't know what the company did to ONE of the MEMBERS, causing the member they like to decide to leave. They didn't know that the member they say they knew well had to scout for other companies to take them as a whole, though failing. They don't know the promise the member they love left us, their fans, in the last gift the group's given before they said "farewell for now". They didn't know his struggles, his thoughts, his emotions and the natural course of his alien mind, but I do... we, his real fans, the fans who really know him, do. They have no right to say otherwise.

Lastly, I know, within all of me, that they don't LOVE the member they claim to love. They're obsessed with him, but they don't love him. We do. Because if you truly love someone, you don't wring them around the neck and claim them as yours, you don't fight with the fans of his group because you're supposed to be better than that and you know you support the same celebrity, you don't say bad things about the other members of the group because he loves them and most of all, you don't encourage him to become even more miserable than he already is.

We love him, as much as we love the group and to embody this love, we support him with anything. It's more than his face or his talents or his songs and dances that keep us here. Whoever he's with, whatever he does, we support him... because we love him. And even if we continue to be outcast-ed by the people who claim to love him more than we do, we stay behind the rope and watch, for even in the distance we know, our love will keep him going.

Like I've said last year, they can have him. They can keep him. Because sooner or later, they'll let go of him. When he's not as "hot item", not as popular or not as good-looking anymore, they'll let go and we'll be waiting in the wings for him. In the meantime, we have the other members to support and we look forward to their activities.

I just hope that these bloggers learn the beauty of facts sometime soon because even if they're partying like rock stars as of the moment because they think they've achieved a lot by writing such nonsense and hurting a large block of fan girls/boys in the process, the world is round. Sooner or later, what they write and say or do will bounce back to them and they'll be drowned by their shame.

They think we don't say anything or do anything because we've given up, but we haven't. We have our knowledge of them in us and that will forever be our weapon. It all boils down to the fact that they DON'T KNOW ANYTHING. Because knowing their activities and songs and favorite color and food doesn't make you a fan. It's knowing their heart (and the natural course of their alien minds... LOL!)

So yes, dear dimwits, the several waves of nausea your articles bring, have come and gone. Reading articles like that just proved how basic and extremely shallow your knowledge of him is and I learned to never read anything from you, guys, ever again.

Bless you disturbed souls. May you find your light at the end of the dark tunnel you tread.
